You may have heard of pastors excitedly challenging their congregations with a mission giving goal, culminating in the pastor dying their hair a particular color or shaving their heads! Friends, I have no plans to change my hair.  Instead, let’s paint my front door! Every dollar given to CCUMC Missions during Lent will be equal to one vote to choose the color!

To vote for your favorite color, add your email, select your color, and submit this form. Then visit http://bit.ly/d00r2021 to donate a dollar amount equal to the number of votes you would like to cast for that color. From there, Donn Lee (our Business Manager) and Stephanie (our Church Administrator) will connect dollars donated to votes cast for colors.

For example: John Smith wants to vote for Jay Blue. John puts in his email and casts his vote here for Jay Blue. Then, John will go to http://bit.ly/d00r2021, select Give To Mission Fund, and donates $15 to vote 15 times.  

On the First Sunday after Easter, I’ll paint the front door of my house (on Facebook Live) the color that received the most votes/dollars.  My door may even become a conversational piece in my neighborhood and even open more doors/opportunities for me to share the love of Jesus with my neighbors!
